I have celiac disease, I am lactose intolerant and also allergic to eggs, so when I first found Ian's Gluten Free Fish Sticks and saw that they were not only gluten free, but also dairy free and egg free, I was extremely excited to find something that I could have as a quick meal. I was hesitant at first because of the price and the fact it seems to have nothing it due to it being completely allergen free so it could they really taste good?
Not only do they taste good, they taste great and I have now been buying them regularly since 2003 and eat them once or twice a week when I need to grab a quick lunch. As someone with so many food allergies, to have a quick meal and for it to be something I actually enjoy eating is something that isn't easy to find.

Ian's Nutritional Information
No Artificial Colors, Flavors or Preservatives
Ian's adheres to stringent USDA regulations using a minimally processed standard for all of our products. So ingredients are not processed, modified, atomized or autolyzed.
No Hydrogenated Oils
Ian's products don't contain hydrogenated oils or trans fats. Plus, we use only the best non-hydrogenated soybean, canola and cottonseed oils. Now banned in California, studies show that trans fats can cause non-insulin dependent type II diabetes and may increase your risk of heart disease and cancer.
No Refined Sugars
Refined sugar has no nutritional value. It can also rob your body of much-needed nutrition, vitamins, minerals and enzymes. As a substitute, Ian's uses evaporated cane juice that has been extracted from pure sugar cane and dehydrated. What's left is a sugar substitute that retains all of its rich, all-natural vitamins and minerals.
No Hormones or Antibiotics
Ian's uses only premium high-quality beef that's free-range grazed and fed a nutritious vegetarian diet full of all-natural minerals and amino acids. We never use hormones or antibiotics, while prohibiting animal by-products in the feed and eliminating the risk of mad cow disease.
No Bleached Flours
Typically, flour is bleached using potassium bromate, a chemical used as an oxidizing agent. Europe, Japan and Canada have banned the use of Potassium bromate, while flours containing it in California must carry a warning label stating its potential as a carcinogen. At Ian's, we prohibit the use of bleached flours in all of our food products.
No Chicken Skin
To reduce cost, most manufacturers put 20 percent chicken skin into their nugget products. But Ian's all-natural chicken products do not contain chicken skin. We use only 100 percent white meat chicken to provide a tastier product with enhanced texture and up to 60 percent reduced fat content.
No Tripolyphosphates
Ian's fish products are frozen just once on the boat and remain frozen until cooking. So you can enjoy whole foods that tastes fresh without tripolyphosphates, which other manufacturers use to preserve fish products that are frozen, thawed and refrozen.
Less Fat and More Protein
Ian's meals have half the saturated fat of other kid's food brands and equal or more protein per gram and per serving size.
Healthy Allergen-Free Choices
The number of people suffering from food allergies grows 10 percent each year. Ian's is one of the few companies that offers delicious wheat-free and gluten-free options. In fact, all of Ian's allergen-free specialty foods are wheat, gluten, dairy, egg, nut and soy-free. We also provide a convenient tool to search all Ian's products for specific allergens.
